As a Disney Resort Hotel Guest, one of the
benefits of your resort stay includes the ability to book
Lightning Lane Reservations 7 days before you arrive. You can do this on the
mobile app or on the website using your computer. After you have made your selections, it’s just a matter of waiting for that special time to come.
You have a few options when scanning in for your Lightning Lane Reservation. Option one is to touch your linked
MagicBand+ at the attraction entrance. Another option is to open the My Disney Experience Mobile app and tap in with your phone at the attraction entrance. Both you and your husband have the option to do this, or, if you have his ticket linked to your account, you can scan in for yours and swipe over to his ticket to check in for him.
The last option you have is to use
Disney MagicMobile Service. Similar to the app, you will use your phone to scan in. The difference is, your mobile wallet can automatically pull up the ticket for you. That is, after you have downloaded it to your mobile wallet. So you don’t even have to open it up on your phone. It just pulls up and goes! My husband loves using this feature, although he prefers his MagicBand+. He was able to try this option out during our last visit when he accidentally left his MagicBand in the room.
Christina, either of these options will allow you to access the theme parks and the attractions you have made reservations for. Be sure to take tons of photos and remember to live in the magic.
