Hi Jessica, and welcome to planDisney!
From all of us, thank you for your husband's service! I am happy to help you begin planning a 2025 visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Spring at Walt Disney World is beautiful, and you'll be able to experience EPCOT in "full bloom" at the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! Dine on dishes with fresh ingredients from around the world, and participate in Garden Graze! Pick up a Flower & Garden Festival Booklet at the entrance to EPCOT (or at the Creations Gift Shop) and purchase five select menu items. Once you reach five, stop by Pineapple Promenade for a sweet treat as a reward! For Mouseketeers, Butterfly Landing and Spike Bee's Pollen-Nation Exploration Scavenger Hunt is a fun and magical way to experience Flower & Garden!
I spoke with a Ticket Representative at Shades of Green Resort regarding eligibility for
Disney Military Salute Tickets. Veterans who are 100% disabled with a DOD ID card (DD 1173) are eligible for Salute tickets. Your husband's VA status does
allow him to purchase
Magic Your Way tickets however through Shades of Green Resort. You can order base tickets, with Park Hopper, Park Hopper Plus, or with the Water & Sports Option. No activation is needed with ID, the only thing you will have to do is make Theme Park Reservations!
You also qualify to stay at
Shades of Green Resort! I recently stayed here for the first time and had a wonderful visit. This resort is close to Disney's Magic Kingdom Park, has spacious rooms, and wonderful
dining options on-site, as well as lots of family-friendly activities. My kids loved
Mill Pond Pool and the playground. I also loved having an Exchange on-site.
Jessica, I hope all of this information was helpful! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. If you need additional pixie dust, send me questions anytime. You've got a friend in me!
Happy Planning!
Frances
