    Our local base, KAFB, just informed me, that you CANNOT purchase 4 Military Salute tickets at one time and another 2 Military Salute Tickets at another time in the same calendar year. They all have to be purchased in ONE transaction, is this true?

    Hi Erika, and welcome to planDisney!

    I am happy to help guide you as you begin planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort! I am a military wife and have purchased Disney Military Salute Tickets over the last decade and a half. Sponsors or their spouses are allowed to purchase up to six Salute tickets per year. I spoke to a Ticket Representative from Shades of Green Resort, and she told me that the maximum number of Salute tickets that the sponsor or spouse can purchase is six, so if you purchase four in one transaction, you still should be able to purchase two more for later this year. If you prefer to order your tickets through Shades of Green, fill out their Advance Ticket Form Request, and email it to tickets@shadesofgreenresort.zendesk.com. They will contact you for eligibility status and form of payment. 

    Along with Salute tickets, servicemembers on active duty status, retired after 20+ years of service, or 100% disabled qualify for military rates at select Disney Resort hotels! Rates vary by resort tier and are limited, so if you plan to visit this year, call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line as soon as possible, and a friendly Cast Member can add this to your reservation! The 2025 renewal of the Disney Military Salute hasn't been announced yet, so check back in the fall for updates on The Disney Parks Blog!

    I also recommend looking at Shades of Green Resort as an option too! This wonderful resort is perfect for military families and is super close to Disney's Magic Kingdom Park. Not only does it feature great dining options, and fun amenities (including a spa!), but there is also an Exchange on site!
