    What hotels are Pet Friendly

    Hiya Kaitlyn,

Welcome to planDisney! My Prince Charming and I were just chatting about how long it has been since we brought our dog to Walt Disney World. Before the two little Mouseketeers made their arrival in our lives, we loved to go on road trips to Disney and bring our puppy along. He loved hanging out at Best Friends Pet Hotel while we were at the theme parks, and we loved having him as a part of our magical memories.

Currently, Walt Disney World Resort has four resort hotels that are designated dog-friendly. They are: Art of Animation, Port Orleans- Riverside, Yacht Club, and The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort. These resorts are so wonderful that no matter which one you pick, you and your dog will love it. Each one has designated pet relief areas, plenty of green space, and a welcome kit from Mickey’s pal Pluto! Port Orleans – Riverside is my personal favorite because it is so peaceful, and I’m a sucker for Mickey-shaped beignets.

I hope this was helpful, Kaitlyn. Before I let you go, as a reminder, in order to stay at one of the dog-friendly resort hotels, your pup (maximum of two dogs per Guest room) will need to be up to date on all vaccinations and must adhere to the pet policies. Please come back and see us if there is anything else we can do to help.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
