Hi Kimora!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney! I can't think of a better place to celebrate your birthday than Walt Disney World Resort. Let's take a look at a few ideas to help you make this the most magical birthday ever!
Kimora, I can tell we'd be good friends because the EPCOT area is one of my favorite spots, too. I'm especially in love with
Disney's BoardWalk, which is full of shopping, dining, and entertainment options to keep the fun going beyond the theme parks! If I'm planning to stay near
EPCOT and Disney's BoardWalk, my top choice is
Disney's Beach Club Resort. I really enjoy the laid-back beach vibes and the convenience of its location - just a quick walk from the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT. Not to mention, you can't beat Stormalong Bay if you plan to relax poolside during your stay.
Just a short ride away on the
Disney Skyliner, you'll find a few other properties at various price points.
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a moderate resort where you can live your best island life. With swaying palm trees and sandy beaches, you may forget that you're in Disney! There are also two value resorts you can access via the Skyliner -
Disney's Pop Century Resort and
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Both offer fun theming and the
same great resort benefits at a more budget-friendly price point. If you're looking for additional space for a larger party, Art of Animation has family suites as well.
Regardless of where you choose to stay in this area, you can easily access dining at many resort hotels along Disney's BoardWalk and the Skyliner. If you love character dining as much as I do, you'll be happy to know that both
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera and
Cape May Cafe offer character breakfasts - no park tickets required!
Beaches and Cream Soda Shop is my go-to spot for a sandwich and ice cream in the middle of the day. Looking for an extra special sweet treat here? Maybe your whole group can tackle the Kitchen Sink Sundae together! When it's time to make dinner reservations, consider one of my favorite hidden gems,
Ale & Compass Restaurant. If you end up dining here, I have to recommend the New England Seafood Pot Pie. . .it's my favorite dish on their menu!
I hope this information has been helpful, Kimora, as you continue to plan a most magical birthday trip. While you're finalizing your plans, don't forget to check out the
great special offers currently available and all the
summer fun happening around Walt Disney World! You've got a friend in us here at planDisney, so please stop by again if you have any other questions!
To Infinity and Beyond!
