Royal Greetings, Queen Judith!
Thank you for bringing your question about
character dining options here to planDisney! Character breakfasts are among my favorite ways to spend time at the resort, and they certainly take place
among my favorite restaurants, so let’s get you booked for your upcoming visit!
I’m so curious to know which lunch you will choose! The
Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park at the Plaza Inn is a popular choice. Still, if you want to
see the most princesses, the
Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures would be the perfect fit. The latest seating for character dining for these locations takes place at 11:30 a.m. Personally, I love
Goofy's Kitchen because it is such a fun experience for all ages, and
the menu is well-rounded for everyone. The
Storytellers Café, located in
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, has my favorite food selection. While princesses are not scheduled to appear at this location, if you’ve never had
chilaquiles, here’s the place to try them!
Reservations are available online 60 days in advance, starting at 6 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. My pal, panelist Amanda D is an absolute expert at booking reservations for her cast of characters, so
her winning strategies are worth exploring.
Have you downloaded the
Disneyland Mobile App yet, Judith? That’s my go-to for making reservations,
dining or otherwise! From the app, find the plus sign at the bottom of your screen. Then choose “Check Dining Availability.” Then enter your party size, and the calendar will appear. Choose the date you plan to reserve lunch, then available times will appear at the bottom of the screen. If you choose “Lunch,” all dining locations will appear available for that date and time.
I hope these tips help you book the character lunch, Judith. I’d love to know what other plans you’re cooking up for your royal entourage, so please don't hesitate to
follow up with me.
See ya real soon,
Danielle
