Welcome to planDisney, Madhuja! We are glad you brought your question to us.
I have some picky eaters in my family, and I have also traveled to Walt Disney World Resort with family members who have dietary restrictions, so I understand your concern.
Guests are welcome to bring their own food and nonalcoholic beverages into the theme parks, although glass containers are not allowed (other than small baby food jars). As there are no microwaves in the theme parks for general Guest use, I recommend planning to bring items that can be consumed without heating. My family often brings portable snacks such as fruit, granola bars, crackers, and cheese. If you need to keep items cool, I recommend a
small insulated bag that you can store in a locker. Do keep in mind that
loose ice is not permitted in coolers; reusable ice packs are recommended, or small zip-top bags of ice are also fine.
Microwaves are available for Guest use in quick-service dining locations at
Disney Resorts Collection hotels. If you'll be staying at one of the Disney Resort Hotels, I suggest taking a mid-day break to rest and relax at your resort and take advantage of the microwaves there for heating your food.
I recommend browsing
dining locations in advance of your trip. Each location's webpage will have a link with a menu, so you can take a look to see if there are items that will work for your family's needs. I also recommend reaching out to the
Special Diets team - the amazing chefs at Walt Disney World Resort can accommodate many dietary needs.
I am wishing you a wonderful vacation, Madhuja! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Enjoy your visit!
