Welcome to planDisney, Brandy! We are glad you brought your question to us. It is important to "
Know Before You Go"!
I'm glad to hear it sounds like you have already checked the
Walt Disney World Property Rules for the dimensions of bags that may be brought into the theme parks. Bags must be no larger than 24" by 18" by 15". Hard-sided coolers are not expressly prohibited, and there is not a stated limit on the number of bags you may bring with you, however, all bags and coolers will be required to undergo security screening prior to entering a theme park. I personally try to bring just the bare minimum into the parks with me to expedite the screening process. Please note that
loose ice and dry ice are not permitted in your cooler. My recommendation is to use reusable ice packs or small zip-top bags of ice. Glass containers (other than small baby food jars) and alcohol are also prohibited.
Please keep in mind that wagons and other trailer-like objects that are pulled are not permitted, so you will need to carry your cooler or store it in a locker. Check the
locker dimensions to be sure your bags will fit. Lockers are available on a first-come, first-served basis inside each theme park.
I hope that helps! Please stop by planDisney again with any other questions you may have. Enjoy your visit during
The World's Most Magical Celebration!
