Welcome to planDisney! I know you must be excited that your
Walt Disney World Resort holiday is just days away, so I’m glad you stopped by with your question.
One of my favorite things about
EPCOT is being able to “sneak” out of International Gateway. The good news is that you really aren’t sneaking out, as any Guest is able to utilize this exit, but we can keep it our little secret.
Well, since it isn’t really a secret, let’s talk about some of the treasures you will find when you make your way out of EPCOT through International Gateway! First, you will walk right under the
Disney Skyliner, which is a great way to get around Walt Disney World Resort, especially from EPCOT. You can hop aboard this Character-bedazzled gondola system from the station to your right after exiting EPCOT.
Or, you can continue on to
Disney’s BoardWalk area for some delicious dining and other entertainment. I never miss a chance to stop in
AbracadaBar, which is located by Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, and has one of the most
extensive specialty cocktail menus in all of Walt Disney World Resort. Look around and take in all the theming celebrating the mysteries of magic. The longer you stay the more curiouser and curiouser things get!
Lana, remember, if you parked your car in the EPCOT car park or if you need direct, complimentary
Disney Bus Transportation back to your
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you will need to re-enter EPCOT through International Gateway and make your way back to the front of the park. Along the way, you can sample more delectable offerings at the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE® – Global Marketplaces!
