Hey there! We are staying at the All Star Movies resort this July and couple of our party have asked if there is a gym nearby they could use. Thank you Steve

Hey there, Steven, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you popped by with your question.

With so many delicious treats in The Most Magical Place on Earth, staying healthy on vacation can be a bit of a challenge! Honestly, I usually walk so many steps that it's not too much of a problem - but I can completely understand the urge to squeeze in a workout.

Steven, the value resorts in Walt Disney World offer plenty of great amenities and benefits, including complimentary theme park transportation and Early Theme Park Entry. However, one thing you won't find at any of the value resorts, including Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, is a fitness center. I know this isn't the answer you were hoping for, but I still have some good news that might help you go the distance.

First of all, there is a 1-mile running trail that connects All-Star Movies to Disney's All-Star Sports Resort and to Disney's All-Star Music Resort. If you're up for a run or a brisk walk, this could be just the solution you're looking for! Just lace up your sneakers and load up your playlist with some upbeat Disney tunes, and you'll be ready to work up a sweat!

Now, this gets a bit trickier if you're more of a gym junkie, but I do still have some ideas. While most of Disney World's fitness centers are located at the deluxe resorts, there is one moderate resort that offers its own gym! Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is home to some fabulous dining, a spectacular pool, and, most importantly for your purposes, the La Vida Health Club Fitness Center. You'll only be able to use this gym if you're a registered guest at Coronado Springs - but if a fitness center is a priority, you may want to consider an upgrade. If you're interested in making the switch, I recommend calling the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line to speak with a Disney Cast Member.

If none of these options fit the bill, I suggest doing a quick internet search for nearby fitness centers that might offer a day pass. Just be aware that you'll need to rent a car to get to an off-property facility!

I hope this information is helpful, Steven, and that you stay strong like Luisa on your upcoming Disney vacation! If you have any other planning questions, you know where to find me right here at planDisney.

    Cheers,

    Allison
