Magic Kingdom Park in just a few days--that is so exciting!
Lots of folks are very particular about the type of footwear they choose for park touring days, and I can attest that I am with you on this one. In the warmer months, I prefer a supportive sandal over sneakers. Rain in the forecast? Not a problem. Might get soaked on
Tiana's Bayou Adventure? Bring it. Your feet will stay comfy and those shoes will be dry in no time.
Ilia, you'll be happy to hear that you can enjoy all of the attractions throughout Magic Kingdom wearing sandals. Even
TRON: Lightcycle / Run,
Space Mountain, and
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad are fine to ride wearing your favorite footwear.
Now, if you were headed to EPCOT's
Soarin', I would suggest that you leave those sandals on the ground right before liftoff. Those sights are so spectacular, a sandal could easily fall right off. At Magic Kingdom, though? You are good to go!
