Dinner at 7:30p at wilderness lodge . Is it possible to see boat parade and magic kingdom fireworks from this hotel ? Can we get to the Polynesian by boat - if not how ?

    Welcome back to planDisney, Teresa!

Ooh, a 7:30 dinner at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a lovely way to cap off a Walt Disney World day. Great pick!

Teresa, one of my favorite "surprise" moments is hearing the incoming soundtrack of Electrical Water Pageant while dining, shopping, or staying at a resort that's along Seven Seas Lagoon. Upon arrival for dinner, ask your server for the shortest route to catch a glimpse of this unique parade. For more information, check out Recreation at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

To find the time of Happily Ever After as well as Electrical Water Pageant, check your My Disney Experience app and choose the day you'll be dining. Today, for example, I see that the Pageant will be gliding by Wilderness Lodge around 9:30 PM. Happily Ever After is set for 10:00. While most lagoon areas at this resort don't offer a full fireworks view, you might be able to see the highest, largest aerial sparks above the tree line.

My planDisney pal Kurt gave you perfect advice on getting from Wilderness Lodge to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. If you time it right, while you are at the boat dock heading to Magic Kingdom, you'll be able to see a bit of the fireworks while hearing the soundtrack as well. Once at Magic Kingdom's boat dock, walk to Walt Disney World monorail for your effortless ride to the Polynesian. If it's fireworks time, you'll surely have a great view on the monorail, too. At the Poly, Tambu Lounge is open until 11:00 PM most nights, and Trader Sam's Grog Grotto keeps the adventure going (for the 21+ crowd) until midnight. Trader Sam's is a tiny but oh-so-fun bar that's tough to get into, but if the pixie dust heads your way, you will definitely enjoy a nightcap there.

Teresa, keep in mind that the Resort Monorail and Express Monorail operate until about one hour after Magic Kingdom closes, so if a monorail back to MK (then onto a Disney resort hotel bus) isn't an option, you have a few other ways to get back to your resort. You could take a rideshare, or call a Minnie Van. In addition, depending on the time you are heading back, check with a Cast Member at the resort to find out operating hours for bus service from Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). If still running, it's a quick walk to the bus stop at TTC (just to the right of the Polynesian on the map). There, board the bus back to your Disney hotel. Oh what a night!

Teresa, as you put together your positively pixie-dusted plans for your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
