Hi Stacey!
Thanks for coming back to see us. I'm slowly working my way through all of the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels and am happy to share my thoughts.
When I think of an adult-only visit, quiet and relaxation are the first things that come to mind. Though you'll find some fantastic theming at each of the
Value Resorts, they can feel busier and louder, in my experience. Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort typically get my vote for best Value stays, but both require you to travel via
Disney Skyliner when visiting EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios.
I do love the vibes in the 80s and 90s section at Pop Century, so if you have your heart set on a stay there you'd just need to plan for alternate transportation on those days.
Minnie Van Service is a convenient (and adorably themed) paid option, but you can opt for another rideshare service as well if you won't have your own vehicle.
A
Moderate Resort will offer a larger variety of dining options and more of an upscale feel.
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is my favorite in this category, particularly the stunning Gran Destino Tower which houses some excellent dining options. I think this resort would be perfect for an adult-only trip and would allow you to avoid using the Disney Skyliner. I
gushed all about this beautiful hotel last year, so take some time to read through if you need extra encouragement to book a stay here.
I have yet to stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort but I think
Disney's Port Orleans-French Quarter would be another good option. This is smaller than its sister, Disney's Port Orleans-Riverside, and offers a single bus stop for the parks. You'll also be closer to the beignets at
Scat Cat's Club - Café here, too. These resorts are within walking distance of each other and offer peaceful water taxi service to Disney Springs, subject to availability, via the
Sassagoula River Cruise. This would be a great location if you are hoping to enjoy the dining and nightlife at
Disney Springs during your stay.
Vacation packages for 2026 are not available to book just yet, but I recommend keeping an eye on the
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page to see if any offers would work for your travel dates. In terms of when to visit, it's hard to choose between the beauty of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival in the spring, or the delicious offerings at
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival in the fall. The Food & Wine Festival holds a special place in my heart, but you really can't go wrong with a visit in either season.
I hope this gives you some ideas, Stacey! If we can offer further guidance please come back and let us know.
Magic and memories,
Amy
