Aloha Kelly!
Welcome to
planDisney! Thanks for stopping by as you dream about your tropical getaway to
Disney's Polynesian Village & Bungalows. It's one of my family's favorite Walt Disney World Resorts, and we're counting the days until our August stay here. I'd be happy to review some details about
this property's deluxe studio accommodations.
Deluxe Studio rooms are located in three longhouses on the east side of
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort: Moorea, Pago Pago, and Tokelau. Moorea is closest to the Transportation & Ticket Center and features north-facing lake-view studios overlooking Seven Seas Lagoon and
Cinderella Castle. Standard-view studios in this building face courtyards and walkways. Pago Pago offers standard-view studios facing the
Walt Disney World Monorail or lush courtyards, and Tokelau houses a combination of centrally located lake-view and standard-view studios. My family likes Moorea for its proximity to the
EPCOT monorail and convenient access to laundry (the guest laundry room is located on the first floor of Moorea). Our second favorite longhouse is Tokelau, for the shortest walk to the pools and lobby.
All deluxe studios feature identical, tasteful, South Pacific-inspired decor. While not explicitly
Moana-themed like the regular resort rooms, the designs invoke island vibes that would make our favorite wayfinder feel right at home. In addition to a full bathroom equipped with a shower/tub combo, the deluxe studios also have a bonus half-bathroom with a sink and standing shower. The layout is fantastic! My family has stayed in deluxe studios in nearly every resort that offers them, and these are our favorites.
I hope this is helpful, Kelly, and you have a wonderful island escape. If there is anything else we at planDisney can do before your adventures begin, please send more questions our way. We'd be delighted to advise you on everything from restaurants to attraction strategies on your upcoming trip. Thanks again for visiting us, and have a magical day!
Mahalo,
Betsy
