Hi Kajsa! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.
I'm sorry one of your group can't join in the fun on your upcoming visit. Life does sometimes get in the way, but the good news is that there is a good deal of flexibility with a standard admission ticket for Disneyland Resort, which is valid and unused. The expiration date for a standard admission ticket is very generous. For example, the tickets currently on sale are valid through December 30, 2025! I hope that's good news. If you're unsure of the expiration on your tickets, you can speak to a Cast Member on the
Tickets phone line. Have the ticket ID number handy.
But recently purchased standard admission tickets aren't set to expire anytime soon, so ready to make new plans? All the Guest needs to do is make a new
theme park reservation when they're ready to come take part in the magic! Even if their ticket expires before they visit, so long as it is wholly unused, they can apply the value of that ticket toward the purchase of a new ticket. Call the Tickets phone line, have the ticket ID ready, and a method of payment to cover the difference. Prices and terms are subject to change.
Some special ticket offers, such as the current
SoCal Ticket Offer, have a shorter window of use according to the terms. The Guest will either need to select an available theme park reservation within that valid period of use or upgrade the ticket after the expiration by paying the difference. Theme park reservation availability is not guaranteed and those reservations may become difficult to secure as the window of use closes and Guests are eager to use their special deal. Selecting a new date and park as soon as possible will help if this is the type of ticket you currently hold.
I hope this helps!
