Yes, if you choose to book a Disney Resort now you will be able to add a
Disney Dining Plan to your vacation package later, once those become available for 2027 dates. The only requirements for adding a Dining Plan is that you have both a Disney Resort and park tickets included in your reservation. You should be able to easily make this modification yourself. You will just need to log in to
My Disney Experience to view your resort details, and then select "Change Reservation". My fellow panelist Emma from UK
cautions if you book a split stay at two Disney Resorts, you can only add a Dining Plan to the portion that includes the park ticket purchase.
If past release dates are an indicator, you can expect to see the 2027 Disney Dining Plans become available
starting in the Spring of 2026. One thing to consider before booking your vacation may be to wait until next Spring to make your reservation, in case a
Special Offer becomes available. With a little faith, trust, and pixie-dust... you may even see an exciting promotion like Free Dining! This would still allow a full year in advance to make your reservation, so it should not jeopardize any dates or room types you may have your eye on.
