    Hello! I've heard that there will be some maintenance to the deck at Old Key West. I will be arriving on4/18/25 and I was trying to get some information if the maintenance will be completed by then. I am planning on using the boat to Disney Springs

    Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question today. You'll be visiting Disney World during my absolute favorite time of year. How wonderful! I don't blame you for wanting to get all those practically perfect details in place for your visit... it's a large part of the pixie-dusted fun.

    I did some checking for you on the maintenance schedule at Old Key West Resort. I'm sorry I don't have much additional information beyond what is posted on the Disney World website. Our most current information states that from February 10, 2025 to early April 2025, the Sassagoula shoreline at Old Key West will be closed for refurbishment. During this time, there will be no boat transportation provided from Old Key West to Disney Springs. I know this will be very close to the start of your vacation dates, but don't lose hope! And please know that Mickey would never leave you without a magical backup plan. Resort buses will be available for transportation to and from Disney Springs during the duration of this project.

    Wishing upon a star for you that Old Key West water transportation boats are once again ready to set sail by the time you arrive at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
