Hi Debby. Thanks for reaching out to us at
planDisney to verify if what you've heard is true!
The internet is a wonderful place full of lots of useful information. It has enriched our lives and, as a
Disney fan, has allowed me to keep up-to-date on all things Disney when I can't get to my happy place, the
Walt Disney World Resort. However, there is also a lot of speculation, rumors, and false information. That's why it's incredibly important to ensure that where you get your information is reliable, so kudos to you for coming to planDisney to check!
At this time, no announcements have been made for the 2024 holiday season. Many announcements for an upcoming holiday season come out the June or July before to celebrate Halfway to the Holidays. As such, you can likely expect official announcements on the
Disney Parks Blog for next year's festivities in June of 2024. Until then, I would take any information on the internet about next year's holiday celebrations with a grain of salt and keep following along with the
Disney Parks Blog for anything official.
While
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party has Christmas in the name, it truly is a celebration of all of the holidays. You'll usually find
Hannukah merchandise and displays and just a general feeling of warmth that comes with most holiday celebrations. Disney has made multiple commitments to celebrating
diversity and inclusion so that everyone feels seen and heard. And inclusion, well, includes everyone, including those who celebrate the Christmas holidays. So I would go with
my friend Doug's advice to a Guest who asked a similar question and "don't give it another thought!"
Debby, I love that you're planning your holiday 2024 celebration at the Walt Disney World Resort already! Be sure to follow along with the
Disney Parks Blog this year to see what
might be in store for you next year! Of course, there are always some magical surprises each holiday season, just like how we've been surprised at the new
Disney Jollywood Nights offering at
Disney's Hollywood Studios this year.
If you have any questions leading up to your trip,
please feel free to reach out to me. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have, holiday-related or otherwise.
Celebrate everyone,
Matt
