    Hello, is there any way of having something from the hotel shops or Disney springs delivered to a guest room (dvc) other than magical floral and gifts website.

    Hi there, Nicola! Welcome to planDisney--I'm so glad you decided to be our guest. It looks like you'll be arriving at Walt Disney World Resort in just a few days, so let's dive right in!

    We've celebrated all sorts of milestones at Walt Disney World, from birthdays and anniversaries to graduations and holidays. It's a perfect place to add a little extra pixie dust to your celebration, and there's so many great options for a special souvenir to remember the occasion! Pre-COVID, I loved having the option to send a package from the theme parks directly to our Disney Resort Hotel. At this time, this service is still unavailable, but I can offer a few suggestions to make your Disney Vacation Club accommodations celebration-ready. 

    • As you mentioned, In-Room Floral and Gifts can bring the party directly to you!  They have a wide range of great options including snacks, toys, and flowers, and ordering from them is a really seamless process. We have used them many times over the years and I've always been impressed with the quality of the items ordered. 
    • You can also have something sent directly to the resort and held for your arrival next week. Disney's Mail Services can receive packages for Guests and deliver them to your room (note there is a holding fee for receiving and holding the package--currently $6, subject to change). 
    • Sometimes you need to get a little sneaky to pull off a perfect surprise. If you are hoping to bring an item back to your resort for an in-room reveal, I often make an excuse to grab a coffee or mail a postcard to swing by a particular shop to purchase a gift that I can surprise someone (usually one of my girls) with later! Don't forget to ask about any Disney Vacation Club Member discounts that may apply.
