Hi, so happy November hours are posted, but confused as to why MK closing so early - 6:30 one of the days we're there. Trying to plan for ADRs, Wishes, etc. Any ideas why? Thanks so much - panel is awesome!

Hi, Diane!  I'm not sure which November dates you will be there, but I am going to guess that the evenings the Magic Kingdom is closing at 6:30 is due to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  The party takes place on select nights in November and December, and the park closes to guests early so that the party can get started at 7 o'clock.

Anyone can attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party, but you must purchase a separate ticket to do so.  With your party ticket, you can actually go into the Magic Kingdom at four o'clock, so if you want to have dinner before the party festivities begin, you can make an advanced dining reservation beginning after 4:00 PM.

For my family, we tend to use the parties as a Magic Kingdom day.  We let the kids sleep in later, spend some time in the pool, and head over to the Magic Kingdom at four.  Since the party goes until midnight, it really is almost a full day in the theme park!  The added bonus is the holiday parade and fireworks - not to mention the free cookies and cocoa!

I hope that answers your question!
