Hey Howdy Hey Brisadelmar and welcome back to planDisney!
Holloween time is one of the best times to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. There are so many unique ways both in the parks and around the resorts to enjoy this special time of year. One of the biggest draws is
Mickey's Not-So-Scarry Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom happening on select nights. Thank you for stopping by with your question on the intensity of the show. I will be happy to give you more information and recommendations. Giddy up!
The special Halloween fireworks and nighttime projections on the castle will happen only during the Halloween party. This party will take place on select nights in the fall and on off nights, you will be treated to the popular
Happily Ever After fireworks show. Mickey's Not-So-Scarry Halloween party was designed for the family. On a recent trip where we experienced the party, not only was it super fun, but our young girls had a great time. The fireworks were great and projections will feature more of the Villains as well as Jack Skellington. As long as the little ones are familiar with most of the movies and characters, these shows are meant for the whole family to enjoy rather than to scare you. If you are concerned about the show, you can check out social media and search for "2023 Halloween Fireworks show in Magic Kingdom" for a video. You can gauge the level of scare intensity and make your decision accordingly if you want to attend the party or not.
While we all are super excited about the return of Mickey's Not-So-Scarry Halloween party, the official dates have not yet been released. I would encourage you to keep an eye on
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news as it is released. Typically, when we are halfway to Halloween, around the end of April or early May, you will see a lot of excitement on Disney Parks social media and possibly news releases on the happenings for the fall celebration.
I hope this information was helpful as you consider your plans for your vacation later this year. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach back out and let us know, we are always happy to help!
To Infinity and Beyond,
Nick
