I am bringing a baby, Can i have a diaper bag?

Hey Howdy Hey Joyce and welcome to planDisney!

One of the best parts about a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is how accommodating the resort is for families. Little ones will have a blast seeing their favorite characters from the shows they love and just interacting with the rich theming of the environment is so much fun to watch! Thank you for stopping by with your question about bringing your diaper bag with you. As a father of 3 and one who has taken his kids of varying ages to the parks, I will be happy to give you more information on the specifics. Giddy up!

I am happy to report that you are more than welcome to bring your diaper bag with you to the park Joyce. You can find all the specifics on the Property Rules which will outline what is acceptable and not for your day in the parks. As long as your bag is less than 24 inches long by 15 inches wide by 18 inches high, you can bring this into the parks. Just a forewarning that no loose ice or dry ice is allowed. If you need to keep things cool, reusable ice packs are recommended. If you need to keep things cool throughout the day, most Quick Service and Table Service dining locations will be able to give you a cup of ice which you can fill up a ziploc bag you bring with you to keep anything cool.

Another huge benefit you might want to keep in mind during your park day is the Baby Care Centers in each Theme Park. These centers may come in huge in a pinch or if you just need a little downtime. Here you will find an area for you and your little one if you need a quiet place to eat or just relax for a few minutes. They will also have items such as diapers and wipes available for purchase if you forget them or run out. I will never forget losing a pacifier while in the parks and forgetting the backups in the room, but thankfully they sold the ones our daughter used in the center and a trip back to our resort was not needed! Don't forget about these as they may come in handy.

I hope this helps give you the specific requirements for your bag so you can better prepare for your day in the parks. If you have any further questions, please feel free to let us know, we are always happy to help!

    Have a Magical day,

    Nick
