I wanted to know if I can see the magic kingdoms fireworks from my theme park view hotel room at the contemporary resort?

Hey Howdy Hey Mike and welcome to planDisney!

You are going to absolutely love staying at Disney's Contemporary Resort! This resort is one of my favorites to stay in as well as visit. The shopping is great and being able to sit and relax while watching the Walt Disney World Monorail cruise overhead is a relaxing way to spend some time. Before I get too far into how great the Contemporary is, let's talk about your room view.

When you book a Theme Park view at the Contemporary, you will be treated to fantastic views of all the Magic that awaits in Magic Kingdom. It is a great way to get excited for your day in the park as well as a nice way to sit back and relax watching the Magic unfold from your room. I am happy to say that the views are fantastic both during the day as well as at night. You will be treated to views of Magic Kingdom that are great for watching Happily Ever After every night in Magic Kingdom. I will say, depending on which floor you are on, this may impact your view slightly. The higher up you go the more you may see. But no matter what, you can view the nighttime fireworks show from your room.

While staying at the Contemporary, you will have so many options for things to do. Not only will you be within walking distance of Magic Kingdom, but you are also only a short monorail ride away from EPCOT. I would highly encourage you to plan for a couple of days outside the parks to enjoy the resort as well as consider doing a little resort hopping. You can take the monorail to both Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa to check out each resort. Feel free to walk around, do some shopping and enjoy the rich theming each resort has. One of my favorite things to do at the Polynesian is to stop at Pineapple Lanai for a Dole Whip and hang out on the beach for a bit watching the boats go by. It is super relaxing and a great way to spend the afternoon!

I hope this does help get you ready and even more excited for your Enchanting vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth real soon. If you have any further questions, please feel free to stop back and let us know, we are always happy to help!

    To Infinity and Beyond,
