Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Nicole. We're so glad you stopped by! It looks like your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just about to begin. How exciting! I'm sure you're counting down the minutes until your arrival.
The Walt Disney World Resort is committed to making sure that all Guests have an accessible, inclusive, and magical visit, in
and out of the theme parks. There are many support services available for Guests with disabilities, including
Disability Access Service. This in-park service is designed for Guests who are unable to tolerate long wait times in a queue environment. There is no exact disability that stipulates qualification for DAS because the Walt Disney World Resort recognizes that every individual is unique. For that reason, Guests are encouraged to virtually chat with a Cast Member to determine what accommodations would best meet their individual needs. You can have this conversation up to 30-days before your arrival by clicking on the 'Register for Disability Access Service' tab on the DAS page of the Walt Disney World Resort website. You can even virtually speak with a Cast Member on the day of your visit by accessing the Disability Access Service screen on the
My Disney Experience mobile app. A friendly Cast Member will be happy to discuss your needs with you.
Before your arrival, I encourage you to take some time to read the
Accessibility Planning Guide & Recommendations document. It has loads of important information about the services available at the Walt Disney World Resort for Guests with disabilities!
I hope this was helpful, Nicole. We're wishing you a magical Disney vacation!
Ashley
