Lightning Lane services so you can skip those standby queues at Disney World. I’ll focus on Lightning Lane Multi Pass today, but if you have any questions about Lightning Lane Single Pass or Lightning Lane Premier Pass, feel free to submit another question so we can get you all the answers you’re looking for!
When you purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you will pre-select 3 Lightning Lane attractions for your park day. Once your park day comes around, every single time you scan into a Lightning Lane, you will be able to book any other available Lightning Lane.
Every time you book a Lightning Lane, you will confirm which members of your party you’d like to book the Lightning Lane for. So, if not everyone in your party wants to ride a certain attraction, just select the people who will be riding.
As far as pre-selection choices go, I recommend choosing the same pre-selections for your whole party to make the booking process a little smoother once your booking window opens. Then you can go back and modify any Lightning Lane attraction you won’t be riding together, so that you can book a different attraction for those guests.
If you have a valid
park hopper linked to your account, all 3 Lightning Lane pre-selection attractions need to be in the same theme park. But as soon as you scan into your very first Lightning Lane on your park day, you’ll be able to book any available Lightning Lane in any park. At that time, you’ll also be able to modify any existing Lightning Lanes to any other available Lightning Lane. So, if you’re ready to hop before you get a chance to use a Lightning Lane pre-selection, you can modify it to a different attraction in a different park, pending availability.
If you'll be staying at a
Disney World resort or select good neighbor hotel, your Lightning Lane booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to your resort check-in date. If you're staying off property, your booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 3 days prior to the start date of your ticket for date-based tickets. Since Lightning Lane services are subject to availability, I recommend booking as soon as your booking window opens to give yourself the best chance at getting the Lightning Lane pre-selections you're hoping for.
