Matt from TN Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We had a great stay at the Fort during the 50th anniversary. We called Disney before arrival to rent tents & cots, and CMs had the site ready and waiting for us. Is it true that this isn’t available any more?

    Howdy Matt! Welcome to planDisney.

The Campsites at Fort Wilderness Resort are the perfect nature-lovers escape from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks. Enjoy over 750 acres of pine and cypress forest and the many trails your family can explore. You can stop by Tri-Circle-D Ranch to meet Cinderella's ponies. For a completely unique experience, sign up at Pioneer Hall for a pony ride.

I have fantastic news to share with you, Matt. I had an online chat with a friendly Cast Member who assured me, that tents and cots are still available for rent. You will need to call the Disney Resorts Hotel Reservation Help Center for rental options.

Did you know you can also rent Golf Carts? Reservations can fill up fast and you are visiting during a very popular Halloween time at the campsites. If you are interested, I recommend calling soon to secure a rental at (407) 824-2742. Rentals can be picked up by the Reception Outpost.

And finally, if you have not had the pleasure of seeing the musical, comedy, and dinner show Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, think about treating yourself. This family-friendly production is hilarious and entertaining. Dinner includes Southern comfort staples like fried chicken, ribs, cornbread, and strawberry shortcake. Adults will enjoy sangria, wine, or beer with their meal.

    Keeping it Magical,
    Cindy
