My grandson is disabled.. we are going to visit Disneyland this Saturday.. can I take his wagon?

Hey there, hi there, Russell! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney to ask us a question about your upcoming visit.

I am so excited to see you will be visiting the parks this week! I was there earlier this week and the weather couldn't be more perfect for a park day. Disneyland Resort is a place for everyone and so much thought and design has gone into making sure everyone can enjoy the magic of the parks. As you may know, Disneyland Resort Property Rules do state that wagons and stroller wagons are prohibited items. However, exceptions may be made if a child has a disability or medical need that requires the use of one to be used as a mobility device or to transport medical equipment. These exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis in person with a Cast Member.

Before you arrive, I recommend taking some time to go over the Services for Guests with Disabilities. This is full of information on accessibility for queues and attractions, as well as lots of other great information to review to make sure you have the best visit possible. The Disneyland app is also going to be a great resource for you while you are in the parks.

Russell, thanks again for stopping by! I hope your family has the most magical visit!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
