Hi Yunuen! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
Disneyland Resort is dedicated to being a welcoming and inclusive space for all its Guests. Accessibility is a real priority for Disneyland Resort, and having visited with friends and family who used services provided by Disney, I can assure you that they do everything they can to accommodate their Guests. I also have personal experience with bringing grandparents along to the parks: It's the perfect spot for a multigenerational family trip.
Everyone's challenges are different, so I can't speak to whether your grandparents would qualify for
Disability Access Service (DAS). DAS is not intended for Guests with mobility issues. DAS is meant for Guests with a developmental disability who can't tolerate a traditional queue. Your visit is almost here. If you'd like to have a conversation regarding your grandparents' situation, pre-registration must take place no later than 2 days before your visit. Your grandparents will also need to be on the video chat. If you believe your grandparents might be eligible but you can't make the video chat work prior to your arrival, you can speak with a Cast Member in person at Guest Relations.
If your grandparents'
disabilities are of a different kind, there are still lots of great options, including
mobility device rentals, resources, and guides to check out before your arrival. You can also call the Disability Services phone line to speak to a helpful Cast Member directly about the services and resources that might best make your grandparents' day the best day ever.
I hope this helps!
