I was wondering once the new DAS policy starts on June 18th would people with autism of any kind like high functioning be qualified for the program or is it only for ones that are lower functioning?

Kevin, the upcoming enhancements to the Disability Access Service (DAS) are being made to ensure that guests who require special assistance can fully enjoy the attractions. These changes are more specifically designed to make sure that guests who truly need these services can use them.

Kevin, determining eligibility for the DAS is now a personalized process conducted through individual conversations with friendly, knowledgeable Cast Members. Whether it's through a pre-screening call or an on-site discussion, these Cast Members are there to make sure your needs are met with understanding and care.

For guests with developmental disabilities such as autism, the Disability Services team is available via a virtual chat system to address any questions or concerns about the DAS and other services. If needed, Guest Relations can provide a device to access the virtual chat during your visit.
