Hi there, Lauren. Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! I’d be happy to help you make the most of your grandmother’s partially used ticket.
The good news is that
Disney World honors unexpired theme park tickets with remaining admission days, no matter how old they are! However, used tickets are
non-transferable. So if your grandmother used the first three days, she’d need to be the one to use the fourth day. But it wouldn’t hurt to
call and talk to a Cast Member about your options.
Ahead of your trip, I’d recommend downloading the
My Disney Experience app if you haven’t already. I like to think of it as my magical guide from pre-trip planning to making things more convenient on my vacation. You’ll be able to access your theme park tickets, view maps with attraction wait times, book
Lightning Lane Passes, join
Virtual Queues, preview your
PhotoPass photos, and more! I also use the
mobile food ordering and
merchandise mobile checkout features a lot—they can be a real time saver!
Once you have the My Disney Experience app, you can also set up
MagicMobile Service so you can enter the parks, link PhotoPass pictures, and check in at Virtual Queue and Lightning Lane entrances right from your phone’s mobile wallet. Some of my friends don’t have a
MagicBand and found this option really convenient!
I’m wishing you a pixie-dusted visit to Disney World! And don’t hesitate to stop by planDisney again if you have any other questions.
