Hiya, Emily!
Welcome back to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with another excellent
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. Oh boy! Your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth is nearly here. Are you counting down the minutes until your magical and memorable holiday!? As you prepare for your arrival at the Walt Disney World Resort, let's chat about the
transportation options available to you.
Emily, one of the most convenient aspects of the Disney Resort hotels located near Magic Kingdom Park is the fact that they're all connected by the
Resort Monorail! I'm very happy to share that you'll be able to easily reach
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa by hopping aboard the Resort Monorail by hopping aboard the Resort Monorail at Disney's Contemporary Resort (home of Chef Mickey's). When you board at
Disney's Contemporary Resort, you'll have two stops before reaching your destination, so be sure to stay on the Monorail when it stops at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. When you see the gorgeous Deluxe Resort hotel with the bright white exterior and stunning red gabled rooftop, you'll know you're in the right place!
If time allows, during your time at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, I highly recommend popping into
Enchanted Rose, a beautiful lounge themed to Beauty and the Beast. This is one of my favorite places on Walt Disney World Resort property to unwind with small bites (like the House-made Truffle Fries) and delightful drinks! If you time your visit just right, you may be able to catch a glimpse of
Happily Ever After or the Electrical Water Pageant from the comfort of this relaxing retreat.
Emily, I hope you've found this information helpful and I wish you an extra special visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have any additional questions throughout your stay, you may always stop back by
planDisney anytime. We're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
