What is the best way to get to Chef Disney from Disney Springs? First timer here!

Oh boy, Crystal, I'm thrilled you found us at planDisney! You'll arrive at Walt Disney World Resort soon, and HOORAY for your first visit! It sounds like you have a very important date with the Big Cheese himself, so let's look at transportation options to get you to the magic.

Chef Mickey's is located inside Disney's Contemporary Resort and can be accessed via complimentary bus service from Disney Springs. Please be sure to look for signage to direct you to the correct bus stop, and your carriage should arrive every 20-30 minutes. I'd allow about an hour to get from Disney Springs to the Contemporary, and if you arrive early, you can shop at Bayview Gifts for some enchanting souvenirs.

Another option is to pay for a rideshare service to Disney's Contemporary Resort. Please be ready to show your dining confirmation to access the resort property. If you'd like to roll out the red polka-dotted carpet, you can schedule a Minnie Van to take you there in style!

This dining experience has lots of "character," including a meetup with Mickey Mouse himself. You'll often be able to get a hug from Minnie and other classic pals, too. The buffet offers a range of American-style dishes for the whole family. Besides meeting Mickey, my favorite part of the experience is watching the monorail sail by during my meal. I imagine Walt Disney himself would approve!

Crystal, I hope you have a practically perfect Disney adventure! First visits are the absolute best, so check out this planDisney podcast for an overview and tips from yours truly.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
