Hi there, Pratik, welcome to planDisney!
It feels like you’re up for an adventure to the
Disneyland Resort and seek to purchase the magic “at the door.” I’m happy to give you some insight on purchasing admission and a few tips, too!
The Main Entrance Ticket Booth between both parks in the esplanade does sell theme park tickets on the same day, if available. Additionally, a ticket purchase is just one part of the entrance, all guests must also have a
park reservation for that day. I am happy to share that Disneyland Resort accepts contactless payment methods, including Google Pay and Apple Pay. However, I always recommend bringing the physical card in case our villainous friends decide to conjure up a glitch or two (you know, it is their season to shine right now)!
While you can pay in person, on the same day, I still recommend
purchasing online and save your time in line for more magic in the parks. Disney California Adventure Park is one of my favorite parks! I especially love the thrill of
Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! And if you’re visiting now through October 31, at around 3 pm PT the theme switches to
Guardians of the Galaxy Monsters After Dark, offering even more thrills. Check out the
Disney Eats: Disneyland Halloween Foodie Guide to see what special eats, treats, and novelty items may be available during your visit. And if you have time, pop over to
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa to see the spooktacular Halloween Display in the lobby!
I hope this helps, Pratik, and wishing you a magical visit! If you have any other questions before your trip,
you know where to find us!
Happy haunts!
Camille
