Hey, there, Ivy! It's so nice to meet another Floridian who loves Walt Disney World Resort. I'm an annual passholder, too, so did we just become best friends? Let's look at how you can join the passholder family and enjoy the
perks and benefits of this magical club.
As you know, the
Disney Sorcerer Pass is exclusive to Florida residents and Disney Vacation Club members, and it looks like you live in the Sunshine State. Let's troubleshoot why you might be having issues securing those passes.
First, be sure you're logged in to your My Disney Experience account and that the
address in your profile is in Florida. If that's in order, you should see the annual passes you're eligible to purchase on the
Annual Passes selection page. You'll see pricing to pay in full or through the monthly payment plan.
Once you see the Sorcerer Pass as an option, please ensure that the credit card you're using has a Florida billing address. I have a second home in another state, and I ran into problems paying for an annual pass because the credit card I was using is billed to a Kentucky address. Once I switched to a card with a Florida address, I was good to go!
If you're still having problems, I recommend
calling the Annual Passholders line for assistance. They can see your account information and help you purchase those passes. They might even be able to help you use an out-of-state credit card, as long as you can verify Florida residency.
Speaking of residency, keep in mind that the first time you use your annual pass, you'll need to show
proof of Florida residency. I usually do this at the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs on the day before I plan to use my pass. The Cast Members are fabulous and can even offer tips for the best spots to
use your passholder perks! You can also prove your residency at any theme park entrance, but I like to do it in advance to save time on my park day.
Ivy, I hope I've helped you along the path to becoming an annual passholder! I'd love to roll out the red carpet to welcome you to the fam. Please stop by
planDisney anytime; I'll have some cold Florida orange juice waiting!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
