I'm glad to hear that you have a few trips coming up on the schedule and will enjoy one of the seasonal holiday parties at Walt Disney World. Your October arrival is perfectly timed for a visit to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and I wonder if you're planning to return in November or December for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party or Jollywood Nights? I'm planning a November visit myself and will be attending both winter holiday parties! I'd be happy to answer your question about visiting other resorts and using transportation as a guest of the
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel.
The
Bus Service page on the Disney World website indicates that shuttles from Disney Springs to Disney Resort hotels are available to guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel or visiting one with a dining or experience reservation. I looked up the official list of
Disney Resort hotels, and the Swan is not on the list. In order to board a bus at Disney Springs you may be asked to show a dining or experience reservation for the hotel you are trying to visit. You will be permitted to board the bus two hours prior to your reservation if this is the case. The Swan does offer its own shuttle system that travels to destinations around Disney World, and I encourage you to look at the hotel's website for questions about how frequently shuttles run and where they go. Transportation policies are subject to change, and this is my understanding of the current policy as it appears online at this time. Your mileage may vary, no pun intended!
