Good Morning Disney, We are seniors at 70 years and want to watch our grandkids have fun in the park with our daughter and son in law. They all will be going on rides and experiencing everything. We will not and we are wondering do we have to pay 2 watch

    Welcome to planDisney, Steven!

I'm so glad that you found us and reached out to us. Your question reminds me of the heartwarming story behind the creation of the Disneyland Park. It all started when Walt Disney envisioned a place where both adults and children could have a great time together. He got the idea while sitting on a bench, watching his daughters play one weekend.

I completely understand how you want to create unforgettable memories with your grandchildren, Steven. I know my parents are not the type to enjoy thrill rides like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and the Matterhorn Bobsleds like they used to, but I'm really looking forward to visiting the resort with them and my tiny Mouseketeers soon.

Steven, although admission ticket fees are standard for all guests over the age of 3, but the magic they unlock is priceless!

Just last winter, when I was expecting my second little Mouseketeer, my husband, toddler, and I had a blast exploring Disneyland. We hopped on the Disneyland Railroad, zoomed around Autopia, bobbed along the Casey Jr Circus Train, and took a sin around the King Arthur Carrousel. Even though my parents aren't huge fans of theme parks, we have enjoyed delightful character breakfasts together as a family, and the magic was felt by all!

And Steven, let's remember the incredible Magic Happens Parade, as well as the awe-inspiring nighttime spectaculars. There's something for everyone at Disneyland, whether you're young or just young at heart!

Oh, and if you have mobility issues to consider, I’ve got a fantastic tip for you. Consider pre-registering for the Disability Access Service (DAS). It’s a game-changer! This service allows you and your family to enjoy shorter wait times, making your experience at the park even more comfortable and enjoyable. Just another way Disneyland goes above and beyond to ensure everyone can join in on the fun.

I know your family trip to The Happiest Place On Earth will be magical, Steven. There are thrilling adventures and enchanting moments to be had all around the resort. I'd be thrilled to share more suggestions with you, so feel free to send me another question directly, and I'll be able to respond more quickly.
