Good day I purchased a park ticket and made reservation for Epcot fro Friday Dec. 25, 2020 Christmas. How can I obtain a schedule of events, activities and will there be a light show?

Hello Loretta, and welcome to planDisney!  How exciting that you will be able to enjoy all the magic of the holiday season at EPCOT on Christmas Day!

You are in luck; the Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Holidays will be in full swing during your visit!  You can enjoy all the deliciousness of the Holiday Kitchens as well as festive holiday entertainment from the JAMMitors, Las Posadas with Mariachi Cobre, Voices of Liberty – Voices of the Season, and JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season.

Your guide to all the activities and showtimes can be found in the My Disney Experience mobile app.  From the home page, scroll down to the Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Holidays tile.  Select "Learn More" to find information on Holiday Kitchens, Festival Merchandise, Live Entertainment, and Fun for All Ages.  Selecting each individual offering will bring up more details, including the day's showtimes.

I love sampling my way around EPCOT with all the holiday goodness of the Holiday Kitchens and the Holiday Cookie Stroll - but there is one treat you won't find on those lists.  You simply must try the Gingerbread Salted Caramel Buttercream Cookie Sandwich from Karamell-Kuche in the Germany pavilion.  I am not kidding when I tell you my fellow planDisney panelists and I have literally been swooning over this cookie!  It is that good!!

My friend and fellow panelist Angie recommends stopping by World Showplace to catch a performance of JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season.  Also in World Showplace is an amazing gingerbread display, and an icy snow monster from the movie Frozen, perfect for taking selfies.

Another don't miss this season is Living with the Land with some fun holiday enhancements.  I recommend visiting this attraction after dark for the best experience.

At this time, fireworks and nighttime spectaculars are temporarily on hiatus.  Be sure to check out this page with more information and updates on "Returning to a World of Magic".

Have a wonderful visit and a very merry holiday season!  Please let us know if you have any additional questions.  We are always happy to help.
