Hello, Kelly! It's my pleasure to welcome you to planDisney.
I'm happy to share that
as a guest of a Disney Resort Hotel, both overnight, self-parking at your resort and standard theme park parking are complimentary. This is just one of the many perks of staying onsite that makes me want to return year after year.
Now, Kelly, while either option won't cost you any additional money as a registered
Disney Resort Hotel guest, you may want to consider a few other factors when deciding how best to spend your arrival day. For example, when driving to
Magic Kingdom Park, you will need to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center and take the ferry or the
monorail to the park entrance. This extra step may make a difference to you, particularly at the end of the evening. Alternatively, if the Disney Resort Hotel that you have selected offers parking close to your room and your destination is not Magic Kingdom Park, it may be easier to visit the park before you check in to your resort. For example, at
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, guests can park close to the building in which they are staying. In this case, driving to
Disney's Hollywood Studios might be preferable to parking and taking the resort bus system.
I hope this helps as you are deciding how to enjoy the park on your first day of vacation. If you have any additional questions, I hope you'll come on back to planDisney where we are happier than Lightning McQueen with a wide open race track to help a returning guest.
Wishing you a Magical visit,
Lauren
