If you go out to smoke in Disney parks can you go insiste again, as many times as you want? And do you have q diferent entrance or you have to make the security line again? And can you lose your place inside if it gets full?

    Hi Mariana!

Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your question - I'm happy to help.

In 2019, Walt Disney World introduced a completely smoke-free policy inside all four theme parks, the water parks, and Disney Springs. This means that as of May 1, 2019, there are no designated smoking areas inside these locations. If you'd like to smoke, you’ll need to exit the park and use the designated smoking areas located just outside the main entrances of each park.

Smoking is still allowed at Walt Disney World Resort hotels, but only in specific outdoor smoking areas. Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels are permitted to smoke in these designated locations.

If you leave the park to smoke, you can re-enter as many times as you need throughout the day. To do so, simply keep your park ticket (or MagicBand) with you for scanning at the entrance. Cast Members will need to verify your ticket or MagicBand every time you come back in.
When re-entering the park, you’ll be required to go through security again. This includes the usual security screening process - bag checks and walking through metal detectors. There isn’t a special line for guests leaving for a smoke break, so you’ll go through the same security process as all other guests re-entering the park. Be sure to factor in a little extra time for this if you plan to step out frequently.

While you can leave the park and return as needed, keep in mind that during peak times - such as holidays or special events - parks can occasionally reach capacity. If the park reaches capacity while you're outside, you may be temporarily restricted from re-entering until other guests exit and the park allows more entries. This is a rare situation but can happen, especially at Magic Kingdom Park during major holidays like Christmas or New Year’s Eve. It’s a good idea to check crowd levels, especially if you plan on stepping out during peak times.

If you’re visiting on a busy day, try to plan your breaks during less crowded times (like mid-morning or early afternoon) when park capacity is less likely to be an issue. Since the designated smoking areas are outside the main entrances, be aware of where the nearest area is for each park to make the process as quick as possible.

I hope this helps, and you have a wonderful visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth!
