Hello and welcome to planDisney, Susana. Theme park tickets and park reservations are the
bare necessities when it comes to planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort. So let's talk about it and get these taken care of so you can move on to the fun part of planning!
The good news is that if you're
purchasing your tickets from the Disneyland website, your theme park reservations will be made as you purchase your tickets. In the purchase process, you will be prompted to select your visit dates which will also create and secure your theme park reservations for your visit. You'll be able to see which dates are available before completing your purchase. It's easier than having to say, "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious." If you aren't purchasing tickets directly from the Disneyland site, you can still check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar for your visit dates. Be sure to select the correct ticket type, as availability can vary between different types of tickets.
Another great place to look before purchasing tickets is the
Hours & Entertainment Schedule to check the hours of each park that you'd like to visit. There are several after hours events like
Disneyland After Dark and
Grad Nites happening throughout June that the parks will close early for. You will also see a notice of an early park closure when selecting your park during the purchase process if one of your dates is impacted.
Summer time at Disneyland is so fun. There's nothing like dancing to the catchy music of the
Paint the Night parade on a warm summer evening. And you'll get to enjoy all the festivities of
The Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration! Check out the handy guide to all of the fun in the
Disneyland app.
Susana, I hope this is helpful as you prepare to take the first step to add some magic to your summer. Let us know if there's anything else that we can help with along the way. Here's wishing you a magical visit making core memories at the Happiest Place on Earth!
