Can you go to Disney just for thanksgiving dinner without buying a park pass?

    Hi, Friend!

I love your question because as soon as the Fourth of July is over, my mind wanders to the holidays so planning for Thanksgiving really is right around the corner! The holidays are a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World, so enjoying your Thanksgiving dinner at Disney is a magical way to celebrate!

To enter any of the Theme Parks, you will need a valid theme park admission ticket for each member of your travel party age 3 and older, even if you have a Dining Reservation. If your plan is to dine at any in-park restaurant like Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom or Hollywood & Vine for Minnie's Seasonal Dine, please make sure to plan ahead with a valid park ticket.

Another option is to dine at one of the Resort Hotels. A Dining Reservation is required, and you will need to present your reservation information at the Security Booth prior to entering any Resort Hotel's parking lot.

A third option is to dine at Disney Springs. Here, you will find both Quick Service dining (no reservations needed) along with Table Service dining. Parking and entry to Disney Springs are both complimentary. I am a big fan of Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' if you need a dining suggestion; You simply must try the biscuits!

Please note that reservations for Table Service dining will fill up quickly for Thanksgiving Day, so whether you plan to dine in a Theme Park, Disney Resort Hotel, or at Disney Springs, make your Dining Reservations when you hit your 60-day booking window.

I hope you find the perfect way to spend your Thanksgiving Holiday! Gobble Gobble!
