Welcome to planDisney, Julie!
I’ll never forget my first visit to
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park—it was an absolute blast! My family got seriously competitive on
Toboggan Racers, and I still smile when I think about my then-little sister bravely taking on
Summit Plummet. The theming at this water park is so immersive that one adult in my family (I won’t name names!) actually thought it operated as a real ski resort in the winter! I still give them a hard time about that one. And now, with the addition of the
Frozen-themed kids’ play area, little ones can splash and play alongside their favorite Frozen friends, making Blizzard Beach even more magical for the whole family!
Julie, to get to Blizzard Beach from
Disney Springs, you'll need to hop on a bus to a nearby Disney Resort hotel since there’s no direct route. The best options are Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort or Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, as both offer convenient bus transportation to the water park. You can also get a direct bus from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
For a quicker trip, you might consider using a rideshare service like
Minnie Van Service, Lyft, or Uber. If you’re driving yourself, parking is available at Blizzard Beach for a small fee—unless you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel, in which case it’s complimentary.
I hope that helps, Julie! Thanks for stopping by planDisney—and as Dory would say, "Just keep swimming!"
Mike
