Hi there, Steve, and welcome to planDisney!I'm sorry to hear that you won't be able to use the Disneyland Resort Theme Park Tickets that you've purchased. I realize that life can get in the way sometimes but I hope that you can make your way back to the Happiest Place on Earth sometime in the future!Tickets usually have quite long shelf lives, but if you know that you won't be using them, gifting them to another Guest is an excellent way of making sure that they get used and appreciated. According to the Ticket Terms and Conditions, tickets may not be resold but you may gift them to someone else as long as the tickets have not yet been activated. It's really easy to link the tickets to another person's Disneyland account. There are two methods by which you can do this:
Once the ticket is linked, they will be able to go in and Make or Modify Park Reservations to arrange their visit. Keep in mind that the ticket will still bear your name, but that should be fine because the name on the ticket doesn't need to match the user. The only time that Cast Members will request ID would be for military tickets or location based tickets like the Southern California Resident Ticket. Steve, I hope that explanation helped and that you are able to pass on the ticket to someone else. If you have any further questions, please feel free to write again anytime. We'd love to hear from you and you're always welcome at planDisney!Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!-Al
