Hi there Breanna!
Welcome to planDisney. I'm so excited that you'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort next month! It's even more wonderful that a special someone gifted you tickets to enjoy the magic.
When a guest selects Will Call pickup as the method of ticket delivery they'll need to stop by the ticket booth at one of the theme park entrances or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs to retrieve their purchase. Typically, guests will need to have the ticket confirmation number, the method of payment used to purchase the tickets, and a valid photo ID available.
Hopefully, the person who purchased your tickets selected "This order will be a gift" and input your name as the recipient. If so, you'll just need to show a valid government-issued photo ID that matches the name they input in addition to the ticket gift receipt. The receipt may have gone directly to the purchaser if they didn't edit the details to send to your email, so just be sure you have that handy before heading out on your magical vacation.
There are a few additional things I'd like to mention. First, tickets that require
proof of residency will need to be validated with applicable ID before use. Second, if the ticket recipient is a minor, a parent or legal guardian must present a valid ID on their behalf.
My pal Nimmy recently purchased tickets with a 'Will Call" pickup option and was able to link her tickets without an additional visit to the ticket window. Be sure to
read her tips here to see if you can do the same. If not, I recommend visiting the theme park or Ticket Center at Disney Springs to finalize all the details before your first full day at the parks.
Disney Springs is a perfect spot to visit on your arrival day as there are many fantastic dining, shopping and entertainment options to enjoy after a day of travel. This will save you any potential headaches the morning of your visit and get you on your way to soaking up the magic even faster. You are welcome to
contact a Cast Member by phone with any additional questions or concerns.
I hope this helped Breanna. Please come back with any other planning questions. We're always happy to help!
Magic and memories,
Amy
