Is the Frozen Holiday Surprise included with your regular entry to MK? or is it only included with the very merry xmas party?... How can I know what is included Holiday wise when I visit MK?

    Hiya Patricia,

Or should I say, “happy, merry, holly jolly, season’s greetings here!” At the merriest time of year, my family loves to visit Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, so I am so excited that we are almost to the holiday season. I’m also so glad that you have returned to planDisney for help with your planning question.

As the mom of a Frozen-obsessed toddler, I definitely have Frozen Holiday Surprise on my itinerary for my December visit. Patricia, while Frozen Holiday Surprise has been announced as being featured during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, there hasn’t been any confirmation if it will also be shown during regular park hours. Last year at Magic Kingdom, the show played twice a night: once at 6:16 pm, before the park closed to party Guests, and once at 8:15 pm, during the actual party. When I spoke to a Cast Member, they still weren’t able to confirm if that will be the case this year, but there is a pretty good chance. As we get closer to the first party, take a look at the Interactive Calendar (it traditionally updates to show the scheduled entertainment 60 days out). Although the schedule is subject to change, if you notice that Frozen Holiday Surprise is popping up as being scheduled before the party, there is a good chance that will last through the entire season. In terms of what else is planned for the holiday season, a lot is still being worked out behind the scenes by the magical Cast Members. In the past, not only can you take in the beautiful decorations, but you can also ride the Jingle Cruise, purchase exclusive holiday merchandise, and enjoy yummy seasonal bites and treats.

I hope this was helpful, Patricia. Even without a ticket for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, it definitely still feels festive at Magic Kingdom. For extra special festive feelings, head over to EPCOT. EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is one of my favorite parts of Disney during that time of year. From the Candlelight Processional, the Holiday Storytellers, Glimmering Greenhouse, carolers, and yes, even Santa. EPCOT truly makes the holidays merry and bright. This year's festival kicks off on November 27th, so if your trip dates align, be sure to add a visit to your itinerary. If there is anything else you need, Patricia, please come back and see us. As Elsa and Anna say, “when we’re together, it’s my favorite time of year.”

    Happy Planning,
