Hi Stephanie!
Welcome to planDisney! I’m also counting down to a December trip and can’t wait to visit
The Most Magical Place on Earth at the most magical time of the year!
Stephanie,
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party currently occurs on select nights at
Magic Kingdom Park. With this special-ticketed event happening several times each week, you can expect to see some changes to typical park hours and entertainment schedules. Unfortunately,
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks are both exclusive to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in early December.
While you won't be able to view the nighttime holiday parade without a party ticket, you will find the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade scheduled in the afternoon each day. I love singing and dancing along with the characters as they make their way through the park! On non-party days, you can expect to find
Happily Ever After as your scheduled nighttime entertainment. Fireworks over Cinderella Castle? I can't think of a better way to end the evening! You can always check the
Hours & Events Calendar for a complete listing of nighttime entertainment, fireworks, parades, and park hours. This information is also available to view during your day in the park on the Tip Board in your
My Disney Experience Mobile App.
During your visit, I hope you also have a chance to check out one of my favorite events of the season - the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. In addition to the yummy Holiday Kitchens, you'll find a day filled with seasonal activities and entertainment. When you're making your list (and checking it twice!) for your park plans, don't forget to head over to the
Disney Parks Blog for all of the details about festivities taking place throughout Walt Disney World Resort.
Stephanie, I ho-ho-hope this information has been helpful and that you enjoy a very merry visit this holiday season! If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!
Cheers,
Kristi
