Some friends and I are considering the A Story of Celebration: 70th Anniversary Guided Tour at Disneyland Resort on July 4th and i noticed that teh tour includes reserved viewing for a nighttime spectacular. Is this for Fantasmic or the Fire Works?

Hi there, Kaitlyn! Welcome to planDisney. A Story of Celebration: 70th Anniversary is a perfect tour to do with friends. I recently went on it with 17 close friends of mine, and it was nothing short of magical. As a Disney history lover myself, it was a real treat!

This tour has such sweet nods to Disneyland’s build-up as it walks Guests through 70 years of celebration on a guided tour through Disneyland Park. Steeped in personal stories and nostalgia, it was awe-inspiring to walk through the park as Walt Disney himself envisioned it. Watching Disneyland Handcrafted afterwards also made the tour even more meaningful, seeing that footage from so many years ago.

The cherry on top of this tour is the nighttime spectacular. Guests who take part in the 70th Anniversary tour receive access to a designated reserved viewing area for a nighttime spectacular on the day of their tour. Looking at your arrival date, this would typically be the first showing of Paint the Night, though offerings can vary and are subject to change. You can always double check with your tour guide during your tour for more information on the nighttime spectacular, or with a Cast Member when you check in for your tour. It’s such a great perk of the guided tours at Disneyland when they include reserved viewing for entertainment!

Kaitlyn, thank you so much for visiting planDisney. I hope this information was helpful as you take this wonderful guided tour! You’re in for so much magic with your friends, and I cannot wait for you to experience it all. If you have any more questions, planDisney is always here for you!
