Hello, Eugene. Thanks for stopping by
planDisney. I love the
Disneyland Resort parks dearly, and learning more about them is always very exciting. There is no better way to learn about the parks than to take one of the amazing
guided tours offered.
I'm sorry to say that the A Walk in Walt's Footsteps Guided Tour is no longer offered, and there's no indication that it will return. I was fortunate enough to go on
A Story of Celebration: 70th Anniversary Guided Tour last December, and it was a magical experience. I guess this tour would be the most similar to A Walk in Walt's Footsteps. I have heard that the
Disneyland Railroad Guided Tour is very enjoyable as well, since you get to explore one of Walt's passions - railroads! You even get the opportunity to ride in the Lilly Belle, the luxury parlor caboose that Walt used to entertain his guests, celebrities, and dignitaries.
I'm so sorry if this is not the news you were hoping for, but I believe you will enjoy one of these tours.
I also must say, you're arriving at an excellent time of year, as the
Galaxy's Edge timeline expansion and the
new mission for Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run will have just opened. You’ll also get the opportunity to see two of my favorite nighttime spectaculars:
Paint the Night Parade and
Tapestry of Happiness. There is so much magic this time of year!
I hope all your planning goes smoothly and you have a wonderful trip at the Happiest Place on Earth. If you have any other questions, we’ll see you real soon at
planDisney! I hope you have a magical day!
Corey
