My friends and I will be going to Aulani for the first time in December for a birthday. Is it possible to have a gift in the room when we check in. I thought it special to start our vacation with a little surprise.

    Aloha, Ashley!

What can I say except you're welcome here at planDisney!  How exciting that you have an upcoming trip to Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa next month. Ashley, we were just there in August for our third time and you are going to love it.  When the magic of Disney meets the spirit of Aloha, it is something special indeed.

Ashley, currently, Aulani does not have an in-house gifting service. But, there are a few things you can do to make your birthday Guest feel special. First, Aulani can accept packages, so some Guests will order some decor or gifts through Amazon and have it delivered to the Front Desk. Just be sure to have your name on it as the Guest and you can also call the Front Desk to ensure they hold it for you.  Additionally, Aulani partners with a few local vendors, including a couple of florists and an edible foods company.  You can call them to find out how to arrange for flowers or a gift to be delivered and then have it sent to your room once it arrives.

If you are looking for a special birthday dinner, Ashley, I recommend 'Ama'Ama for a sunset meal.  See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me, Ashley, and it will call you too once you see that gorgeous Hawaiian sunset on the horizon during a dinner at 'Ama'Ama. Few things are like it and to have a special meal with that view is one to remember.

I hope this helps you, Ashley. If you have any further Disney planning questions, surf back here to see us and we will be so glad to help you.  At planDisney, we are your 'ohana. 'Ohana means family, and that means nobody gets left behind.
