My friend works for the military and has purchased me a base ticket to Disneyland. I see the ticket is labeled "MILITARY Ticket," and now I'm wondering if I will be able to use it even though I myself do not have a military ID.

Welcome to planDisney, Aleshandra! Your upcoming visit to Disneyland is a few weeks away, and I am sure you are very excited and eagerly counting down these final days! It will be here before you know it!

Aleshandra, using the ticket you were gifted all depends on the type you were given. If you were gifted multi-day military promotional tickets, then yes, the person who gifted them to you must be present (or their spouse) to activate the ticket at Guest Relations, which is located at multiple locations within Disneyland Park or Disney's California Adventure Park. If you were gifted a discounted one-day ticket that was sold on base, your friend does not have to be present for ticket activation.
